There's yoga. Is this an exercise class?
Nope. Bring your yoga mat, but leave your gym towel at home. Our flow is short, gentle, and sweet. Our concentration is on chakra stimulation, so our poses will be more meditative than challenging. You're always welcome to use that time to sit or lie quietly as well.
I'm not familiar with the chakra system and/or think it's new age nonsense. Is this class for me?
Absolutely. This is just a framework for our conversations and our yoga flow. The discussion topics will still be relevant, the yoga will still make you feel good, and we think you'll enjoy the class very much!
Is my child welcome to join me?
Yes! Children are welcome! If you have an alternative care provider, we encourage you to come solo to give yourself a break. However, Mind Body Motherhood will always be a supportive place for women and their children. During our yoga poses, you may baby-wear or prop them near you. Crawlers and explorers might need a toy or distraction.
